Question for thos using You Tube for Video

Anyone here know why some videos start w/ a black screen and others (mine) look like this???

I'd like them to start as black or w/ an image of my choice...

    No idea, but I doubt if that's changeable, sorry.

    Next question for anyone who might know...
    If I upload a higher quality video will it matter in the long run or does You Tube compress it? I realize it would take longer to download, but I'm signing up for a director account so I can upload larger files...
