This is fantastic! Great detail in the rugged mountainside, and wonderful color palate!

Quite magnificent! I love the view...the feeling of awesome solitude and spaciousness and the color palette of nature is truly beautiful. Great shot!

I passed through Montpelier, Pocotello and Twin Falls last October on the way to Oregon. Where in the Sawtooths?

Nice shot, Zoomer! :D Good color an composition - I like the fence in the fgnd.

My eye wants to see the background a bit darker, and maybe a tad more contrast &/or saturation.

The dark reddish brown trees suggest extensive pine bark beetle damage in this area - it goes up to tree line. Lodgepole pine, by the looks of them. You might look into submission to the local forest service office, or a publication that deals with forestry, because you've documented more than a pretty scene - this is a major issue in many forests.
