Very nice female cardinal, at least in the light it looks female. Cardinals are hard to capture. The ones we have around my neck of the woods move quite quickly.

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

thanks...I have a couple of feeders up, so I get lucky to snatch a few shots.

thank you Harry. I'm pretty happy with this one that I shot with the Bigma, I was still a ways away & lighting was fair for the 6.3f

Another good one! Tiny nit would be the oof branch across her tail.

Recently I've also started using the Bigma wide open, and I'm pretty satisfied with the results I've been getting.

thanks Al, hey, on a sunny day do you think I could get a 1.4x on this bigma ?? Some of these ducks like to hang out just past my reach.

You could, but you're going to lose AF unless you do the pin-taping trick. 1D series cameras will AF up to F8, the others need F5.6 or better. The Bigma already lies to the camera and tells it that it's F5.6.
