Nice shots, Graphy! Great colors! I like the compositions of the first and third the most - the mid one is kind of bland in that regard.

Looks like you're finding your way with PS. Some details: The first one appears to have some Chrom Aberr along the foliage of the trees on the right (cyan), either that, or there was a problem with a selection along that area. Also, the cloud in the middle of the sky seems to have lost detail in the bright area.

I'd like to see the third one a tad darker overall, with the sky being darkened more to create a more dramitic effect. What do you think?

Now that I look at it more your right.
The 1st one(The Pond) fixed the Chrom Aberr (purple hue) but the cloud I can't seem to tone down.
I took these with my Sony 828 which was know for a Chrom Aberr problems...I had a lot of problems with purple in my shots with it!
3rd one fixed the sky and the overall brightness.
    Hows this? ne_nau.gif

I like them all, especially the first one! You don't see anything like this in Florida. (But we have the birds!)

I like the 3rd a lot more - I think it has more "punch" without losing its peaceful feeling. How 'bout you?

I still see some cyan on the upper edge of those branches. There was a "fix" for purple CA on one of these forums - don't recall which. Only way I know at the moment is the raw converter (assuming it was raw in the first place:D ). Anyone know of a cheap fix for red/cyan chrom aberr? That's what shows up the most with my canon lenses.

If this was a jpg that could detail is probably a goner - but you could patch some in with the patch tool in CS - this works pretty well to take out overblown cloud hilights. Let me know if you're not sure how to do that.

No purple CA with my Sigy's.

I got it a lot for some reason....that and close shots of building were all warpy look'in.
    NICE P&S but I'll never go back now.....Canon Rulz!!!:D

I'll play with that pond shot somemore and see what I can do.ne_nau.gif
