My 2YO had his first haircut today...Mum wouldn't let it happen sooner:rolleyes

Is the crop too tight and is it obvious what is happening?
C&C always welcomed.

Cheers

Good on ya, mate. This is a nice, fresh take on an old theme. Quite creative, I think, in both the pose and the timing. Cute, pognant, and telling. Well done.

Chris what a nice photo capturing a special moment. thumb.gif You can definitely tell what is going on here. You mentioned the crop. Wondering what it would look like with a little more of his face showing on the right.

Thanks for the replies. I cropped the bottom of the shot to get Matthew's hand in the bottom corner, but unfortunately had framed his head a little tight in top right.

    Thanks again for your thoughts:D

The hand picking up the clump of hair tells the whole story, even if his face weren't there! I think you did a great job of telling this story with a new twist and I like your crop!!! :D

That is so cute...my son was also 2YO when he got his first hair cute...it should've been sooner...he had these long golden curls...and many who first saw him thought he was a girl...he's now a teenager, and looks back and says..."Mom why didn't you cut my hair sooner...I look like a chick?!!!"

This picture will be priceless to him one day. I do think the crop. is too tight. JMHO.

    Cute little boy.

It is a cute shot - but the thing bothering me about "1st hair cut" is that the hair on the apron is too short, so it looks more like a trim, especially since he does look like he's around two. Other than that, every thing about the photo is goodiloveyou.gif
