Great shots and my view on winter in the snow belt don't have to repeated. I'm getting used to doing my x-mas shopping in shorts and a tee shirt.

... what's this snow I hear people complain about??? Is that the cold white stuff we Californians keep up in our mountains? Joking, California isn't all the great ... too many people, housing expensive as hell .... earthquakes ... yeah ... stay where you are ... California sucks ...
Gotta switch motives....
Sure all the green is gone but thats when all the waterfowl show up and all the hawks and eagles are visable in trees and so on and so on.....but since your talkin macro that might be a different story...

Thanks.
These were taken with the 300L f/4 lens. It does a nice job of close ups with the shallow depth of field and nicely blurred background.

When the vegetation is out.....at least when no wildlife shots are available.....I can take shots like these to avoid boredom.
Going out and freezing my ass off waiting for something to show up ain't for me.
I know.....!.....take another vacation!!!
