Nikon 60mm f/2.8 Micro - Arrived Today
Nothing special....just playing with my "new" lens (bought used from KEH) - but I swear it LOOKS and operates like new! Thanks to KEH.
I love the color from this lens. It's super fast to focus on my D200 and it's very sharp!
Now I really need to get home and drag out the tripod. Should be awesome for portraits too
Of course the guys in the office here that didn't know I was "into" cameras freaked out when I told them how much the D200 was and they didn't even know they made digital cameras like this...LOL Silly ole civilians. :rofl
Couple phones on my desk...yes I know it's a sin to have both Cisco AND Avaya phones on the same desk
The free gumball machine that the guy in the cube next to me fills up for free - takes no coin to get one or more out
Can't remember if I cropped this at 100% or not...I don't think so...

Now, the question is which do you like better? The Cisco phone or the Avaya?

Personally, I'm an Avaya guy. Cisco can't compete in real telephony features. You have to realize, Avaya is what used to be Alexander Graham Bell's old company ("Ma Bell", AT&T, etc, etc)....so they've been at it awhile! As for appearance, the Cisco phone in these shots is a little more stylish. But....Avaya has newer phones I like better (not my photo) The phone in my picture is being phased out.
i was a fiber tester...went all around the country bending light the right way.
I remember hearing about that in the news awhile back. Hopefully you found a job at least as good or better since then.
Yeah, my mother worked for Bell Atlantic 27 years ago. And my dad has worked for AT&T for almost 40 years.

They're a big red flag to any tech that works on that connecting block that those are high capacity circuits (T1 in this case). Yank off one of those wires and you instantly kill 24 phone lines (or that can also be a data circuit T1 - 1.54Mb). So really they're just a notice to people working there to be careful.
