Went to a local aquarium over the weekend.
I must say,it was the toughest shooting I have encounter.
Cant wait to go back and try a few different settings.
50mm f1.8 @1.8 iso 800 shutter varied.Some handheld others with monopod.

    Hey John
    John,

Very nice images. I particularly liked the second and third shots. I have tried a few aquarium shoots w/o any real sucess so I know how tough it is to get these types of shots. Good work. thumb.gif

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

    John,
    very good images!

I love the colors and the sharpness on your pictures. It must have been hard to get them this sharp because of the low light... and hey, that 50mm f/1.8 looks quite good wide open, eh?

    Thanks so much for sharing!
    Take care!

    John,

I am guessing this is the newport aquarium? Very nice job!

I too have tried to shoot at aquariums, it rough.

I have only been through the newport one a couple of times.
