Seriously mate ...they are everywhere. Sometimes you can stand & look around you in the scrub & see half a dozen at once. The web is shocking stuff to get off a lens believe me. I recon i saw 20 big ones in maybe an hour.

They are easy prey....just like the seagulls you fellas get.

Another amazing macro. When you get a DSLR, I'd suggest a nice long macro lens. This way you can stand a little farther back from your..um.."friend" while doing the portrait work :D

Are those poisonous? What am I asking...of course it is. Everything there hurts :D I guess my question should be, how close can it bring you to deaths door?

Tks david..i will get a DSLR when i decide how far to dive in to it all.

I really only shoot so much macro as its what the camera is good at. It only has a 3x zoom.. but macro i can do at 3/4 inch (19mm) f1.8 lens

These are not regarded as dangerous but they will certainly get all of you attention if they do bite. They are a big tough spider. I will get biten sooner or later as they are the size of the camera & it wouldnt take much to climb 3/4 inch whilst im chimping at a fuzzy image in the viewfinder.

Man i hope it doesn't get me on the lip umph.gif

You will notice i dont post many photos of these

You've got to get "Little Britain", funniest show I've seen for quite a while rolleyes1.gif
It started on Radio 3 and made it onto TV last year, it seems to appeal to everyone over here. Everybody, from my kids to my Mother in Law try to do one of the voices.

I tried to find a news article from the week-end but it was about a woman on a train in sydney last week whom put her hand into her handbag & got bitten by a funnelweb hiding there.

They looove shoes to hide in also.
