I finally got a chance to make a tour of the back yard this afternoon. Pretty good activity for January.

You nailed it Gus. I have been using it for a while now, I just recently removed the front part and taped a white piece of paper across the front. I doesn't stick out as far. Seems to work well.

I only noticed as in my 'male rhinoceros beetle' post i can see the flash similar in the beetles eye as well. Only mine is a 600ml ice coffee plastic bottle.

    Love your fly !!!

    Wonderful series Thomas.
Love the Lizard and frog shots- wonderful light, colour and detail.
    Fly shot is good to.
Not mad on the flower - looks like a bearded Iris? - know how difficult these are- took about 30 shots of one during the Summer and didn't like any of them.

Dont you just love those Lizards :D he's a little poser for sure.
I love the Fly shot iloveyou.gif , you need to clean up the multiple black marks on the right hand side of the image.
Actually I just looked again and the Lizard has the same markings in the same place (Right Hand Side)

I like the colour of the flower, but not the shot in particular.

Your frog looks great thumb.gif .... great set of images once again ... Skippy

    Thanks for looking everyone.

Skippy, thanks for pointing out the dust spots. My sensor has gotten pretty dirty. I need to do a better job cleaning.

Brian, its actually a pansy. I know what you mean about flowers. I taken hundreds of flower shots, but only kept a handful. They are very difficult to shoot well.

Gavin, the lens is a Canon MPE65. I also use the Canon 100 2.8 alot.
