Going to be doing my first shoot for a band tomorrow!

Any suggestions ideas? I will be shooting while they rehearse tomorrow as a practise session before the real shoot. Lighting is fairly dim but I will have control of some basic stage lighting.

Never done it officially, but a fast lens like a 50mm or 85mm f1.8 would obviously be best.

I like the idea of cooling down the photos, but they seem a little over saturated? Try pulling down the saturation to -30 or so!

    Otherwise, excellent job!clap.gif

Thanks, your right they are 'technically' oversaturated but I like it on these shots, I did have a look at it with the saturation lowered and it looks fine but I prefer it as is(but to be honest there isnt a massive difference).

Heres the last one for tonight, Im going to do some more normal conversions tomorrow.

    Thanks all much appreciated.

Gus you have some really nice shots there and LOTS of them, I hope I get the chance to shoot that many.

Some seem to be shot on stage but also have good bright lighting too, is that something you set up?

    tks
If your not on the stage or just simply right up on/under it then you lose fast with the light game. Lighting is good & bad depends on the bands budget...i have simply walked out of places because of poor light.

Yeh it is a problem! The bands Im working with are going to be performing in pubs and small clubs so I know the lighting isnt going to be great.

I can get up on stage and in amongst them but it all comes back to being a problem because the lighting wont be good.
