Hi i'm new here. First time posting

I have my own photoblog at http://www.dukesyfoto.co.uk

I started it to encourage me to go out and take pictures and develop my photography skills.

I thought I would share some recent shots I took in Cardiff, Wales. My Hometown

Welcome! Of the set, I like #4 the best, nice capture. Is it just the beer, or are the first two tilted pretty severely?

Welcome! My grandmother is from Ferndale, just up the road from you!

I like number 2 and the moody sky in #3. Can't wait to see more!

    Hi Dukesy

I like #3 the best, although I'd have probably cropped it slightly so the post is more central. Very moody sky! I also like number one, but again I'd have cropped the left a little, or maybe angled more towards the wall. It would be really interesting to see it with a low sun / deep shadows too!

As others have said, look forward to seeing the next bunch.

    Regards

    Matthew

I like the 3rd one (smokestack?) - dramatic sky makes it. I like #1 because I am always a sucker for the linear architectural stuff. But it seems to be a little washed out and the red building on the left is distracting.

    Keep 'em coming! thumb.gif

I like number 3 - has a real surreal feeling.
