Can these be saved?--Part 2
First, I'd like to thank everyone who provided comments on my last post. (http://www.dgrin.com/showthread.php?t=50897) There were many great ideas and comments.
I spent this week playing with custom white balance settings. (I perviously thought this was just one of the esoteric settings that I wouldn't ever need to worry about. Guess that's why the cameras have all the settings...)
So, last night it was back into the yellow dungeon. I used a 50mm, f1.8. I used the manual mode--with ISO set at 800, and most taken at f2 or f2.2 and 1/320 sec, no flash. I used a white piece of paper to set the custom white balance and went at it...
I think there was some considerable improvement. I did very little post processing on the shots, other than cropping and little bit of sharpening. I lightened up a couple as well. I got a good bit of noise--particularly in blue areas--which I'd like to get rid of.
So, I'm ready to keep improving next weekend--any suggestions?
