Hi,

Here is my first post (ever) on dgrin and my first entry for a dgrin challenge.

This is a photo of my grandparents - it was with great difficulty that we managed to get my grandfather to smile...well, almost.

Comments/suggestions appreciated.

Thanks!
Sunita

This is a wonderful photograph...the story of two people who have been married forever, one whose life would not be complete the other, two people who have lived, loved and survived. Not an easy trick in today's world. Just excellent in every way.

While the previous comments are right on.
To be completely honest. I don't think "Cheese" at all when I look at this shot.
You can tell it's a genuine moment though.

I agree it is not a perfect 'cheese' moment, but oh well... :)

SloYerRoll may be right that you don't immediately think cheese when you first see this photograph, but it is a perfect "cheese" moment nonetheless. "Say Cheese" is a valid interpretation of the challenge theme IMHO.

Whether or not this is a good entry for this challenge, you have taken a picture to be treasured.

A great image but not a "cheese" moment. Even though he's facing the camera, their interaction is with each other.
