I tend to agree, when I first started taking climbing photo's they were nothing but butt shots. You really need to go that bit extra and dangle yourself out over the edge above those climbing to get the facial expressions and fingers hard at work for the classic climbing shot IMHO.
Nice shots all the same and its good to see different areas from around the world where other mad climbers are doing there thing!

Well we definitely don't want to hear about any photogs falling off the top of a cliff somewhere trying to get the prefect angle!
Ask the climbers (assuming you know them) to bring an abseil line and a spare harness so you can sit out over the side, it gives you the ability to capture alot of shots of the progress up a climb from a great angle. Just be prepared for a loss of blood to your legs if you sit too long !!
