A few Hummers

My wife and I travelled to Monterey California over the Christmas Holidays, While we were there we found a spot where the Hummingbirds were plentiful and enjoying a feast of flower nectars, here's a few for your enjoyment.

    We were along the embarcadero right by the boat yards when we captured the above images, what a cool place it is up there.

    Nice shots! Those are hard birds. Check out National Geographic magazine's latest issue, they have a piece on hummingbirds.

    Yes, the first night when we arrived it was really windy, but it cleared up the following day.

    Yes, the first night when we arrived it was really windy, but it cleared up the following day.

    You guys must have left the same day we did, Wed after Christmas, man was it windy going up there.
