messing around today on my day off....I have NO idea how to photograph food, but took a few stabs. On the chili I used very harsh/direct light, I read somewhere you light the opposite of portraits? Any thoughts?

    i think the first one would be much better if the contrast was not so high, it kinda hurts my eyes.

    Yeah, I agree now that I see it on a different monitor. need to reshoot. Thanks for your input!
