I haven't done any PS work on this yet. I'm actually at the stage in my photography that I can take good pictures (atleast i think so), but need to take it that next step to make it dynamic.

Looking for comments on the picture in all it's entities as well as improvements.

I'm finally getting up the courage to show some of my work. I hope you like :)

rolleyes1.gif I just saw your post:D I'm not really qualified to comment much only what I like and don't like...:D I love the use of light in your shots.. I love the doggies with his glasses on and the beach shot light is beautiful. I think the couple on the beach is tilting a bit.. did you mean it to do that? I love the light on the girl and I like the shot in general but it's very soft on her face to me..
beautiful light in all of them.. looking forward to seeing more and no.. we are not ignoring you clap.gif:D

I like 'em, Steven. The lighting is really unique and dramatic. Is that a bride in the background??

Thank you for your kind words. I didn't think I was being ignored, I was just really anxious to see what others had to say. Keep in mind, I haven't done any PS to any of these, so they are straight out of the camera.

I can't tell if the image is tilting a bit, or if it's just an illussion from the sand.. I will play with that.

Any ideas on what I can try in PS to make these better?

    I'm still learning here... help!!!

    Thank you fish.

Yes... it is a bride in the background (on the lifegaurd tower).

There was a photographer out there doing their pictures.

I was feeling very proud with my Sony 717 when i got there. Then I saw what he was using..... ::sigh::

    I will upgrade some day!!!

    Thanks again,

I like the lighting in all of them. I think they have a unique look to them. I Very much like this one. The light is Fantastic. The only nit I would pick is the strange shapes in the lower left, I think I would have a go at cloning them out. I cant tell what they are.

It's very clear to me that it's a couple of people sitting on beach chairs. One chair seems empty. Has a towel draped over it. I can't tell which brand of beer he's drinking. rolleyes1.gif

edit: went back to look again. It's a man wearing a hat and a blond woman with a pony tail sitting this side of him. seems that it's the woman drinking the beer. green bottle, may be Hienekin or Rolling Rock ... 1drink.gif
