Nice job - It seems like he was quite the little ham! Pretty soon you'll get a call from his agent!

I love the expression in that last shot. It is almost like he saw his reflection and was wondering who this other male was encroaching on his territory. I love the deep reds in your pics. What lens were you using? Those are some serious close-ups or were you just close?

Thanks..I used my sigma 50-500, I was pretty close, used most all of the 500mm but didn't need to crop much in pp. I was pushing it with the app. ,shot wide open, been pretty coudy here.

I was going to say this looks like a cardinal...are you sure? Just kidding...I'm sure you know better than I do. Love the second shot...almost like she's looking at you - wondering what you're doing.

That second one is pretty cool. I like being able to see the color of his eye. thumb.gif

I just can't seem to get a decent shot of a Cardinal (red raptor). :D

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I find it hard to get the eyes, but you have gotten an excellent well balanced exposure....thumb.gifthumb.gifthumb.gif
