I think the whole country knows of the ice storm that has hit my part of the country. Today (Wednesday) is the worst so far in terms of ice accumulation. But the temps are rising, which is good. I grabbed my camera but was not really able to travel away from home.

We were not hit quite a hard as you guys...we're close to Houston...but our huge - sky-scaper-freeways...were closed down...pretty nasty stuff.

Ice, don't you love it...not. It looks pretty in the right light, but it sure makes things tough. We got some ice here in northern Illinois a few days ago. I made things interesting. At least we're used to driving in snow and ice...well most of us. I spent about 30 minutes chipping my Jeep Wrangler out of a block of ice a 1/4 inch thick. At least with the soft top it just pops right off, although the rest of it took some work.

I was just watching the news, and it looks you guys are having some major accidents down that way. Overpasses, and bridges look terrible.

Keep your head up because......The sun'll come out tomorrow, tomorrow, your can bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow.........rolleyes1.gif

PS....I checked out your link too. Do you always have campfires in the street?

11doh.gif That's what we forgot to do during our blizzard!

That's some nasty ice you guys have down there, I can't imagine what kind of traffic nightmares you're dealing with since you Texans aren't know for your winter driving skills mwink.gif:D

Hope you and your family stay safe!
