Map it in ride report

I am doing a ride report here:

:scratchMay question is this. I want to start a Smugmug Ride Report at point A and go to Point XYZ. When I put my picture and point in the GEO Map-it, do I start at the end of the ride, and work my way to the starting point of the ride? Or do I start at the start and go the opposite way.
I tried both ways and it did not go in order for me. I dumped my cookies & emptied my cache.:dunno
