I am finally very happy with my black and white images and would like to know what others think.

I like them both, especially the second one. Maybe you could open up the shadows a little bit more, get some more detail.

I think they are very cute...the second one is very dark..unless you were trying to silouette the pic.

Thanks for the feedback. The second shot I under exposed on purpose trying to bring it to just a little more then a silouette. It actually turned out exactly as I had planned.

    Thanks,
    Mike

I just LOVE both of these! My only nitpick is the table in the second one is a bit too bright and distracting. I absolutely love the silhouette, though! Awesome....

    Thanks,

i considered burning the table out but after a little thinking I decided against it, because just before this shot she had the table set up with toy cups and saucers having a tea party with her little doll.

So, for the memory of what was taking place I figured I'd leave it alone.

    Thanks again,
    Mike

I'm not too great at B/W conversions (hehe, I generally can handle the "desaturate" part and that's about it for me), but for what it's worth I LOVE the second one! The light/shadows and soft focus are great!!
