(I don't mean to bring the mood down, but I think I recognize the location as the World War II memorial in Washington, DC. That changed how I "read" the photo and caption. The dominant background, combined with a caption "Marriage before & after," creates a somber implication as to why the second woman's husband is not present. Is she looking off across the ocean, still waiting with their child?)
