Ah, that's where my house landed. I lost it in a tornado. Mojave desert you say?

Very Nice Picture! I like the horizonal photo the best but both are great. Thank you for sharing. It is always nice to see a good B&W.

That first one is a great angle but could use a bit less foreground.

What I like about these two shots are the questions I find myself asking.
What was it like to live in the Mojave? What'd the owners do for a living?

Ripe for IR shots the Mojave is thumb.gif

I have to agree that I prefer the second one to the first. One tiny little nitpick (real tiny) is the dark tree on the far left side. Maybe clone, crop or dodge out? It is a little distracting.

It definitely needs the landscape format if you ask me...
Makes you wonder who lived there, and if it was a godforsaken place.
very nice shot, I like the sky too. It all works together! Like it!

Thanks for all the comments and tips!

As for if it was a godforsaken place? Its in the desert so the weather is very extream. Very hot in the summer and bitter cold in the winter. Interesting thing about this site is that there are a number of people living in the area not more than a half mile from this location.
