Syndicate team jersey, SantaCruz DH bike, Red Bull helmet... only Aussie I know that fits that description is Nate Rennie, yeah? That boy can ride the wheels off a bike.
The lads went for a very informal practice yesterday (about 8 riders only) & asked i wanted to lob & see what i could get. As usual the light beat me with fast sports under the cover of trees.
Out of the blue some world champions turned up. There was 2004 mens world champ & a current world round winner & womans world champ (a canadian lady) Apparently they chill out here for the northern winter.
The hill (it is a LOT bigger than it looks) 4 mins top to bottom on a bike.
It was at an old dairy farm.
Going up.
Pretty wild track with 'run off zone'
Down
This is the 2004 world champ & i missed the focus ..man he was fast !
Oooowwww, I bet they get some nasty injuries when they come a cropper mate .... they look like a bunch of wild buggars

Anyway... they're great shots Gus... lighting can be soooo tricky outdoors when there are lots of trees around. Keep putting that 30D to good work
