I spent another enjoyable afternoon at the local ice rink watching the local team, the Atlanta Fire, take on the Charleston (S.C.) Wolverines. These guys are 10 or 11 years old, but go at it pretty hard.

That goal shot is pretty nice. Was play moving away from the
goalie? I hope so or it's a freebie over the shoulder :D

I believe it was a rebound off of the goalie's pads from a previous shot, but I could be wrong. With this age group, "things" just happen; not necessarily as the result of a set play. :D

Give them a few years (the U11 teams). Out here, the level of play at
    that age is pretty amazing.

Impressive shots! clap.gifYou did a great job on white balance which is very difficult to do. Where were you standing? Were you behind the glass?

Most of the time I do shoot from behind the glass, but for this game I was able to stand on a platform just beside the visitors bench and shoot over the glass.
