It was freezing in Boston today so my wife and 1 yo sought shelter in the Boston Aquarium. Brought a Canon 350D and Sigma 30mm f/1.4 with me. Had the lens hood on to minimize glare. Added quick settings (exif not coming up). Cleaned up the noise a bit in CS2.
Love to hear what you think

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

Damn! Not bad at all. Did a quick double take there.
Have to confess that all I did was white balance, push contrast a tough in C1pro and noise reduced in CS2.

I really dont have any business giving anyone advice here with all the other experts, but sometimes I see a great pic like yours and know that with about 2 minutes work, it can be greatly improved.

I do it mostly to improve my own skills, so posting it is probably poor form, I hope you dont mind.

I opened it up in PSE3, pushed crrl+L and got levels. Took some guesses on white and black point. Then color adjusted, both lightness and saturation, then did some unsharp mask. Really it took less than 2 minutes to do.

You can too! PSE is only about $80 and widely availalble free with many accessories. (wacom tablet for one)

    Great jelly fish shots BTW,
