Keywording in Photoshop

I have heard Andy mention doing his keywording in Adobe bridge, so I thought I would give it a try. However there are a few things I don't understand. Everything that gets entered, (whether with quotes and commas, or just commas), shows up in the metadata as semicolons.
I keyworded some photos in Bridge and saved them. then I uploaded one of them to see if the keywords came along for the ride. Went to the image in the gallery I posted it to and in the photo dropdown selected keyword/ caption. The keywords are all there, but they are seperated by semicolons, not commas, and there are no quotes around multi-word keywords. Do I then need to edit and substitute commas for semicolons and put the quotes where they belong also?
One other quick question about keywords. When I go to edit Keywords/captions, should they look like this:
"wedding, "wedding photographer", "kc wedding photography", photojournalist, events"
Or like this:
wedding, "wedding photographer", "kc wedding photography", photolournalist, events

I tried to find a gallery of yours with keywords to see how the keywords showed up, but I didn't have any luck.
Are the keywords showing up under the images how you want them?
I don't use quotes for your normal multi-word keywords (only exception is if there is a number somewhere in the keyword string).
If I have to edit a keyword in smugmug, I separate the keywords with semicolons.
Since most of my keyword entry is via Bridge and ThumbsPlus, rarely do I have to edit the keywords on-line.
Here's another thread w/ similar issues:

Pat, thanks for the heads up on the misspelling. Got that fixed. I have keywords hidden when viewing galleries and images, but they show up in my control panel. I've been told this doesn't affect my searchability. I just keyworded an image in bridge using only commas and uploaded it to a gallery and the keywords show up in my control panel so, I think I'm good to go.
Thanks for your help. I didn't know that SM had done away with the need for quote marks. This makes my life a whole lot simpler.
Regards.
