My friend and I were wondering about the floppy disk that it came with it. The camera came with a weird floppy disk that has a removable memory stick inside it. This ups the storage over ten times. This floppy disk also has two removable, circular, flat batteries inside of it... what's up w/that?

That wierd thing, shaped like a floppy disk, is an adapter for the memory stick. I'm not sure of the exact function of the batteries, but I presume they are important.

That is, as someone else noted, indeed an adapter that makes the memory stick look like a reaaaaally big floppy drive. The batteries provide power to drive the magnetic heads that "talk to" the floppy drive.
