FINALLY, Iowa gets some decent snow.
I'm not sure if this belongs in this board or somewhere else, so please move if in wrong spot. Thanks

This next one is a clip to hold a chain gate connector to the fence.
In Remembrance. But I don't know what of.
I encourage a large-size look at this one (click to enlarge)
And for this last one, I HIGHLY recommend an ORIGINAL size look, because right now at small size it's almost ugly IMO, so click it:
Enjoy Comments and suggestions appreciated.
Snow is a new and difficult photography concept for me because of its rarity of season and the limited colors: Brown, black, and white.
Cheers,

Good pictures!
I wonder how, after 90 views, that I can entice more than 1 comment? :-/ I seem to have trouble with that recently. Is it just that better photos get more comments, and are people too afraid to offer constructive criticism?

I am jealous of your snow. We got less than an inch here so far this year and I'm sad because I love the white stuff.

I've struggled with trying to get a shot that captures the beauty of what I'm actually seeing out my window. I think your shots are nice and I can certainly appreciate them since I'm looking out the window at the same thing!
As for some CC...I would like to see #2 cropped to remove the dark areas... I think it would be have a softer and more dramatic feel if it was just the yellow against the white snow.
The last one I think it just too busy, IMO. I would suggest focusing on one or a few trees to give it a more dramatic feel. All those branches in the background take away from shot because it's harder for the eye to see the snow on the branches. I also find that shooting trees with darker bark gives a more dramatic effect due to the contrast of the snow on the branches.
Anyway, that's just my .02! Like I said, I'm also trying to find ways to capture the beauty of all that white stuff! Enjoy the snow!!!
