There is something about this shot that I like - but something that is not quite right..focus point, ..??? I don't know.

I would appreciate your thoughts - whipping even (dare not put it in there as I was once told "if you wouldn't put it in your port folio, then don't put it here").

Not portfolio material, but a whipping of styles would be appreciated.

    Chris i hope you dont mind but i ..changed the exposure (lowered the offset & lifted the brightness a bit) & then converted it to LAB colour & steepened the curves and then up'd the pink a tad to give it a bit more hit.

    As you said its not something you would maybe put in a portfolio but its has some contrasting colours. Looking at it now though next to yours.. i suspect i should also drop the green a bit.

    That is much better - the way I saw it on the day. Must learn about this "LAB" thing.

    Great shot improved by a person who knows processing!

    I liked the first, but the second is really good, really jumps aout and grabs you, full of emotion.
