Hey guys, thanks to each of you for the good wishes. It's a fun and interesting feeling to receive that notification email from SmugMug.

Chuck - not sure what you're asking but in this case, someone saw the picture and liked it enough to order a print. The order was processed by Smugmug, the customer paid SmugMug (presumably via credit card), the print was made and shipped to the customer. I was notified of the sale via email (along with an accounting of my portion of the sale)

Hey, congrats! I remember what if felt like when I made my first sale. Curiously enough, my first sale also involved giraffes:
