Filenames

Overall I'm okay with the new look and feel and have set everything back to my old look with the exception of one thing, Filenames.

I really don't like how you have to look for them. I don't think most of my clients will bother trying to figure out where they are..

Is it possible to add filenames back underneath the picture or caption? If not is this something that can be looked at in the near future.

Right now my only option is to add the Filename to each caption.

Are you manually adding those or is Smugmug picking them up when you upload your photos?

Smugmug just picks them up.

Ah ha I may of found the reason in that galleries customisation i have this-

"filenames: Yes: No:
for photos without captions, show the filename instead of nothing?"

I have yes ticked and my images are also uncaptioned. It looks like if you have a caption that will then hide the filename, in which case you would need to put the filename in the caption to see it?

TO EXPOSE THE FILENAMES
add this to your CSS:

#fileNameBoxWrapper {
display: block;
}

Good find. I have that box ticked also but since I have captions that is all it is picking up.

Not a huge deal I guess but I will have to add the Filenames to all my captions on the site and from here out.

Be nice if Smugmug could add a Filename feature. Please!!

Your are a genius my friend. That did the trick. I now have Filenames. Andy pointed me to that thread to answer another question but I didn't read down far enough.
