I don't know. YOu would have to run it by Andy. To me a triptich is horizontal, a takeoff on the hinged things of old. Then it have become vertical, too.
Andy has said that it doesn't matter if we just bring in three photos, so to speak.

I like the horizontal format, so I am doing that for me. Someone else can answer you better. That eagle would be a very good get!

Andy, could you please change the background to black or gray (hey, Ginger, I am trying to get to be a background expert:D)?
With so much white already on the pics that gets over too much white to really enjoy the triptych effect.

I like that format (those photos too!). I think that some are trying to take the theme to the literal definition. That is fine, but these contests are about thinking outside the box.

So, I like what you have done with this. If those photos are ineligible, then I sure hope you can get some more eagle shots...they are great!

    Hi Dave,
I like it. Good use of bw to blend it all.

I think this is a good presentation. Very creative! It tells the story better than pictures in a row. After reading Andy's description of the challenge, I would say, "Go to it." I would suggest experimenting with a grey background and white or black lettering though. This seems like too much white.

Andy said you can present three pictures individually if you want. He did say to think outside the box. He did say to use your imagination and almost anything goes. Looking at the sites that Andy linked, they use different kinds of presentations for four pictures. So, why not three?

Thanks folks, for looking and commenting.

Yes, the photos are ineligible, and it's going to be really cold here for the next
week, so I probably won't get the eagles again. So I may try getting some
other smaller birds sitting and flying to put them into this format.

I tried using a black, gray, and other different colors for this, and none
looked better than the white. It has kind of a high key thing going on.

    Thanks again, dave.

I found the eagle again today, but only one this time.
So I used a more traditional format.

The first pic came out the best by far.

I love the eagle. The other two shots don't really excite me though. Maybe some other birds would do. It's tough to get another bird as great as that eagle. :D

    Thanks Snappy.

I got it stuck in my head about doing something with the eagle pics, and I just
wouldn't give up on it. I lost so many good pics because I was just watching
him. At one point, the eagle had flown to another tree, and a kestrel attacked
the eagle, but I forgot to bring the camera up to snap a pic. If I'm going to
take pics of wildlife, I'm going to have to get over being in awe, and take
    pictures.

I think if the weather would have been better, I would have had a chance,
but 30 below wind-chills meant nothing was moving. The cold snap ended
when we got 8 inches of snow.

    Ok, I'm done whinning now.

    Thanks again for looking, dave.
