I just got a call from a customer trying to see their photos. They said there are no galleries on my smugmug site. So I checked and they were right. It says "there are no galleries for this person" Argghhh!!!!

So I log in and it says the same thing "There are no galleries for this person."

I have 4 public galleries and 1 private and they're all missing. This is the fifth problem I've had in the last 2 o3 weeks. Help!

I don't want the cheese, I just want to get out of the trap.

I see 3 albums, portraits, weddings, and angels. ne_nau.gif I clicked on each and they all appear to be working.

I'm sure one of the great smugmug support people will have an answer for you, but I'm thinking it may have been related to the fact that they were upgrading stuff today.

Check out how much smoother the loading works and the picture info's now located in a nice flash-type tab with the thumbs up-thumbs down button.

Phyxius - You mean, you don't work for smugmug? You're just a kind helpful passerby. Well, then thank you for trying to help.

But right now I have steam coming outa my head, because I have nothing but trouble with smugmug, nightmares of technical problems, and I find them to be the least reliable service. So I don't care about pretty new bells and whistles that mean nothing to me, when a customer tells me there are NO galleries on my webpage. Then I go to my smugmug site and it's empty!

Andy, perhaps you could explain, please. You can't seriously think that my customer and I both made up this story for fun?

    Jim,
Nope, I don't work for Smugmug (though I'd take a job if they offered one). I've been very happy with their service. I signed up for a pro-account back in September. I have 3500 pictures uploaded totalling 9 gigs of space. I've had 40 sales through smugmug (a lot of my sales are local so many are handled outside of smugmug). I had ONE customer complaint, which was handled with graciousness and professionalism on behalf of smugmug. Also, as happens in this technology based world I was having a problem with my e-mail and one customer was trying to ask me for a release so they could have a picture printed in a magazine. Since they couldn't get in touch with me they contacted Smugmug help. Smugmug had my alternate e-mail and we got everything taken care of in a timely fashion.

Smugmug help, help @ smugmug.com gets you real help, from real people, real fast. But, they are human and with recent upgrades and a hardware problem I'm sure they're getting lots of e-mail. I know I'd rather wait 30mins for a personal response than 2 minutes to get a response "ticket" and then a day or more to get a real solution. I'm sure Andy and crew will be able to help you.

And, just as a side thought....did you try refresh? I know when the computer systems are running slow the pages may appear "done", but hitting refresh will load what was missing.

No, I do not think you made anything up.

I'm saying that we don't see "photos gone" - if you are missing anything now please let me know?

    Sorry for the hassle.
