    Thanks for your kind words!

    I've been trying to play more with shadow in my portraits. This was lit with a single umbrella to the side with no reflector.

    I like the mood of the shot very much. Her expression is open to a lot of interpretation, and the lighting enourages speculation. Nice job.

    I would dodge her right eye (in highlights) to match the intensity in her left eye.. I think it would add some more balance to the shot. Right now it looks as if her eyes are a bit wonky.
    Otherwise, I love this shot. Classic. She is so contemplative for a 2 year old!
