Wakodahatchee - Photography Paradise...
Business brought me to Florida for another 36 hours or so, and I got to spend about three of them (before i had to dash for a plane) at Wakodahatchee Wetlands near DelRay Beach Florida. The wetlands are actually part of a water treatment facility and have a mile or so boardwalk that really is amazing if you like birds, turtles, gators, and more birds. What I've shown below is really just a small taste and i was only there a few hours. Hope you don't mind the big post. If you get a chance, take a look at the entire gallery (and there are many more good shots) of the wetlands here: http://kt.smugmug.com/gallery/2389626
Harry, I hope you've had a chance to take a gander at this place, because it seems almost tailor-made for bird hounds....

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
appreciate the kind comments. and i really hope some others can take advantage of this spot and show me up with even better shots. Regards...Keith

Thanks for sharing these. Very good and sharp. Great variety and color. I went to a "bird preserve" yesterday in Southern California and saw about 3 birds. I think they all went to Florida for the Winter.... Sigh!
