Variable download?

I have a feeling that I'm overlooking something basic, but let me try anyway.

I'd like to give another individual the ability to download original images off my site at no cost. But I don't want them to be able to see, adjust customization, etc. In other words, I'd like them to be able to download at no cost.

Possible?

    two ways:

    1) pro account, give guest password

    2) any account, put the images in a separate gallery, passworded, with orig's turned on.
