Just a note to introduce myself. I just found this site today. It appears to be quite interesting and I look forward to visiting it often. I specialize in photos of horses, primarily "draft" horses or light horse and mules used in draft situations. Draft horses are usually referred to as "Clydesdales" by many folks, although Clydesdales are only one breed of this type of horse and are not nearly as numerous as some of the other draft horse breeds. In fact, I seldom photograph true Clydesdale horses except at some horse shows and parades. I will try to add an example of my work to this post.
I shoot with Minolta 7d digital camera with various lens depending on the situation. The photo I am attaching is one from last summer that is one of my favorites from 2006. This horse weighs about 2,000 pounds and was half of the winning team in the horse pull later that day when they pulled over 9,000 pounds of concrete blocks. This photo shows why these horses are known as the "gentle giants".

Glad you see I am not the only new member to this board.
I too like draft horses as the next farm to mine has quite a large collection that I like to photograph.
Look forward to seeing more of your work

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"

I am not sure what is cuter, the girl kissing the horse or the horse that seems to be leaning into the kiss.
Welcome. I look forward to seeing more pictures.
