Placed my order with Newegg for my new components.
Gigabyte DS3 mobo
2 GB Corsair XMS RAM
Seasonic 430W PS
Antec Solo case
Seagate 120 and 250 GB SATA2 drives
XFX 7600GT dual DVI video card
Intel E6300 CPU
Scythe Ninja CPU cooler
Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic audio
I already have an NEC 3550 DL DVD burner, 19" Dell Ultrasharp flat panel, and 300 GB Seagate SATA2 drive in an external case as a backup. This will replace my P3 700, 512 MB PC I built back in 2000. I think the performance increase, especially in CS2, will be substantial.
I'll probably overclock it close to 3 GHz since it's so easy with the C2D CPU. Can't wait to put it together.
