Check this out. Lord V made it to the top story on the front page of Digg. A monumental feat. I posted the story there wanting to showcase his work. It took off like wildfire. Congrats out to Lord V.

ps I don't claim to be the greatest in the world- I gather you need a catchy headline to make it to the front page of Digg.

Reading that digg forum is like sitting in a 7th grade classroom. Makes me appreciate Smugmug that much more....Flickr sucks. Can't believe those people over there. Brian...you're excellent in my book and I use your work as a benchmark as I'm out macroing. Thanks clap.gif

    Congrats and well deserved.
One group I am on, if your gallery reaches #1 you have to post a picture of you in the shower wearing a hat. (It's all quite clean and in good fun - not nudie pics.) It's quite comical what those people come up with. Does Dgrin have any such requirements. rolleyes1.gif

That's my impression exactly! I feel like I'm eavesdropping on a bunch of 12 year olds. I haven't seen anything close to comparing with Brian's work.

Great job LordV. clap.gif I've made no secret that I love the images you post. One day I'd love to work on waterdrop refractions. You're an inspiration. thumb.gif

Thanks for the very kind comments and support all - much appreciated.
You'll just have to believe me there really are other macrophotographers out there just as good or better than me- they probably just don't post as many shots as I do :D

Nice one Brian =) .. As soon as I saw the Dorito background in some of your macros I knew you were destined for greatness =). He He He. Seriously though - when I think macros I tend to think Lord V =).
