Smugchat; We are fam-i-ly!

I have to say, over the past few days I've really enjoyed watching and participating in Smuchat and the testing parties. As I said the other day in the channel, watching the dynamics is like being at a huge family Thanksgiving dinner. Lighthearted bickering, ideas being exchanged and implemented, and a whole lot of work being done. I had the opportunity to actually see and test some things before they went live and even put my 2 cents worth in!

I've never heard of a company that conducts their business out in the open like this, even including it's customers in the process. If you guys are missing out, see the Testing Party thread on how to get involved. You might even get to talk to Onethumb, the actual CEO, about anything from your favorite Smugmug feature, to preferred ways of pwning at Wii games. (Sorry your 7-year-old owned you at Nintendo, Andy!)

You really do feel like family, and realize just how important the relationship is. Come join us!

Fun? I was up a few nights till 3am watching these guys debug the new
interface before it went online (loved every minute of it). What a bunch of
characters and very serious about every finite detail.

Steve couldn't have said it better. You all oughta join them and see what
happens behind the scene. So come on over to the Testing Party and join
the fun.
