Hi all,
These are my first photos posted on here after lurking for some time, and learning a lot from all of you. I'm enjoying digital SLR photography greatly and gradually figuring out what I'm meant to be doing. Digital is soooooo much better than film for amateurs like me. Forums like this are very useful for getting hints & tips, so any feedback gratefully received.
Here's a few of the area around where I live in Guildford, England.
#1 River Wey
#2 Water meadow
#3 Bench at the top of Pitch Hill - nice spot for a rest
#4 Sheep farm
#5 Newark Priory near Ripley
#6 lastly a boardwalk though a watery conservation area

In #1, that black blob at the bottom right is tad distracting; maybe a slight crop would be in order?
I really like the composition of #3 but would work on the exposure a bit.
#s 2, 4 and 5 are kickass.
#6 might need some adjusting but still nice shot!
Ha, look at me like I know what I'm talking about!?
I'm in no way a pro, but those are just the things that "stuck out" to me.
Welcome, btw, from one "once-a-lurker" to another.
