I have come to this conclusion! Not that anyone would have ever accused me of being so, but I thought I could pass for a vague facsimile.

In any case, a year of full time (not flex time) employment has seen so many things slip from my ability to get it all done. And unbearably photography is one of them.

The other really interesting thing that has happened over the course of this year, particularly recently, is that I have come to miss the challenges of I faced when I was self employed - the decision making, the problem solving, the thinking on the run... I have been working a very administrative job, waiting while the slow wheels of the bosses tried to find 'something more demanding for my obvious brain power'. I have come to the conclusion that my vision of a 'more demanding job' and theirs is not likely to mesh. I suspect that I will always do more admin than problem solving.

So my next challenge will be to convice them that I should move more quickly into a position of responsibility or to convince myself that I can do without the really great benefits that this job has.....:dunno

You probably already know this, but to get noticed - find someone with a job with which they need a helping hand, then offer it. To attain a position of responsibility, you first must demonstrate that you are capable. It won't often be handed to you, you have to hunt it done and get it done!

And, we all know you can do this!
