My son broke his hand and I wanted to get some shots. Next time I'll use fill flash!

    I think your lighting is pretty well on.

    I'd also like to applaud you breaking out of the traditional center crop portrait framing - that standard needs to be expanded. I think DOF really draws you into the eyes.
