This morning we started out with very light rain and around 10:30 it turned to snow and by 1:00pm it was gone. The sun came out and it turned out to be a nice day, so I went out to Lake Draper to look for the reported loons and eagles. As I rounded the southwest corner of the dam, I spotted this guy just leaving his perch. I followed him to another perch and was rewarded with a very tolerant bird. Took about 30 shots and he flew off. This is just one of several good shots.

Nice hawk shot Duane. thumb.gifthumb.gif I've been tracking one of these guys for a couple weeks now...but he's too smart. I don't get but 50 yards from that sucker. I'm taking my camo blind next. He's MINE. :D

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that better!"
