For those in Colder Climates

Not that SoCal hasn't been cold by our standards, but I know many of you are reeeeaaaaaaallllllll cold..............brrrrrrrrrrrrr

So a couple of winter time shots SoCal Style :D

    I think they're super nice shots. The yellow framing isn't really working for me though...IMHO, it makes it look almost hokey/cheesy (but I'm not sure those are the right words).

    I see what you're trying to do though.

    And yes, central PA is crazzzzzy cold now. Like 20* high today... wings.gif

    Ugly border aside :D ,
    I really like the warm tones of each of the images. I really like the fist shot against the sky. Very nice.

    No fair. Outside thermostat reads 15, with 10 inches on the ground and 3 on the way tonight.:tough

    love the deep saturated blue in the first shot, how did you acheive this? polarizer for one, but any PP?

    Beautiful photos, Benjamin. I especially like the first one -- I love sea-type grasses, and the Parrish-blue (read: Maxfield Parrish) looks great behind the golden stalks.

    It's 19 degrees in DC. Thanks for taking me to a warmer climate -- even for a moment!

    Ah, it brings back memories of my 12 years in socal, which terminated abruptly in 2003. Here in Lancaster, PA things are indeed a but cold. You should see the people trying to get the frozen plow-snow off their driveways...pickaxes and all! Would that make a good photo?

    I love your landscapes gallery as well. What coast with rocks are those of?
