Ok, Ok, no great photography here, but not bad for a quick self timmer shot to give you an idea of the area I was hiking / climbing in. Sedona is a beautiful place. If anyone has a spare million or three, and would like to invest in a house let me know. I could be talked into taking care of it for you. :D

Hope you enjoyed your trip to AZ and the Sedona area. I was up in Sedona in October and hiked the same area.

Which way did you head home? Oak Creek- Jerome- or back to the Interstate?

Looks like yours was taken from a little higher up. This was quite a climb for me, and I am surprized they don't have hikers falling off, especially with ice and snow.

I went to Jerome, Bisbee, Tombstone, White Tank Mountains, Montezuma Castle, Montezuma Well, Tuzigoot, bell rock, Cathedral Rock, Red rock crossing, had a nice hike in the snow, and ice on the West Fork Trail at Oak Creek. Had a difficult hike at Picacho Peak State Park (1000' elevation gain).

All and all a great trip. If I find a few spare million laying around I would buy a house in Sedona.

Sounds like quite a trip and quite a bit of driving! Was it a vacation or working vacation? Hope you enjoyed the scenery.
You hiked to the top of Picacho Peak? I have heard that one is pretty difficult. I hope to make it down there this March for the wild flower bloom.

Look forward to seeing some of your shots from the trip.
