And I have a few shots of just the door. I was down there changing the angle and messing around for a few shots, but it was just boring (to me). Until Maxx came looking for me... that gave it the final accidental touch.

In my mind's eye, after reading the thread title but before seeing the picture, I saw sunlight streaming through a small window into an otherwise dark basement. The door, stairwell, and (especially) the dog were unexpected. I don't know why that is, but there it is.
