Great timing! Great shots. And looks so very painful!
I do have one question... Was the second frame taken right after the first one? I can't figure out how the girl in black and yellow ended up with the face plant. The first image makes it appear that the girl in purple is going to be on the bottom with the black/yellow jersey girl on top, but the face plant shot shows it the other way around. How did they get switched around?

I believe they are taken one after the other- other wise these girls were really battling.
If you look at the first one again you can see they are not on top of one another but the girl in the black is behind the girl in purple. Now look at the feet. The girl in black is tripped by the other girls foot-which is planted- causing her to project forward and downward.
The sport is all about the "feet".

Both players got right up and continued playing. I don't know how sore she was the next day, though.

Great timing on the shot!
Anyone that has played at the high school level or higher knows it is a very physical game.
Can't even remember all of my injuries. Too many spills like this I guess!

nice capture, and 'football' certainly is a contact sport, well it is this side of the pond anyway.
